Sweater ending
I decided not to add anything to the baby cardigan and am off to send it to my good friend Julie for her baby Ian. I'm sure she'll love it and hopefully it will fit him okay. I hope she'll send me a picture of him in it, or I'll get to see him in it soon. My next project is still undecided. . . I just got a few knitting books for Christmas that I'm hoping will help me use up some of my leftover yarn. They are 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders and One Skein: 30 Quick Projects to Knit or Crochet. Both have some super cute projects in them that I'd like to try. I also picked up the latest issue of Knitscene that has some sweet projects and also features my friend Jill. So, there is much to look forward too . . . I also have purse/bag ideas floating around in my head that I want to try to create . . . so many ideas, so little time. TTFN!

I feel the same way about giving knitted gifts. I just want to see photos of them in it - bet they baby will look adorable!
I have One-Skein Wonders - some good patterns in there. The Felted Bowls are really easy and turn out great - a great was to intro into felting if you are interested. I made the footies a couple of times too, oh and the baby hat (they are all on my blog under the "Finished Object" label if you are interested.
If you are really getting into knitting (and I hope you are) you should sign up for Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com/) too - so much inspritation there as well!
oooo, I need to get my hands on a copy of knitscene - haven't seen it yet!
I really want to try the cupcake pattern in the 30 Quick projects book. And possibly try this pattern as well as a gift for my neice: Tea Set Looks so fun!
